United States ?B-1/B-2 Non-immigrant Visitor Visa Application Procedures and Fees
Pursuant to the United States Immigration and Nationality Act, a citizen of a foreign country who wishes to enter the United States must first obtain a visa, either a non-immigrant visa for a temporary stay, or an immigrant visa for permanent residence. Visitor visas are nonimmigrant visas for persons who wish to enter the United States on a temporary basis for business (B-1 visa), for tourism or medical treatment (B-2 visa), or for a combination of both purposes (B-1/B-2 visa).
- United States B-1/B-2 Visa Application Fees
Our handling fee for assisting a client to apply for the B-1/B-2 visa application is USD980. It is inclusive of the government visa fee. In particular, our fee also covers the following services:

Providing general advice regarding the application for B-1/B-2 visa in the United States;

Providing assistance with the preparation of supporting documents;

(3)

Filling out application forms and submitting the B-1/B-2 application to the USCIS;

(4)

Liaising with the USCIS;

(5)
|
Application status reporting to the client;
|
(6)
|
Scheduling of visa interview;
|
(7)
|
Preparing client for the visa interview at U.S. Consulate or Embassy.

The fees stated are exclusive of delivery charge, document translation fees, notarization fees, etc., if any.
- Payment Term and Method
Upon receipt of confirmation of engagement, we will issue an invoice and email it together with detailed wire instructions to you. Because of the nature of services, we require full payment in advance. In addition, once service is commenced, no service fees will be refunded. We currently only accept check, cash or TT and credit card payment through PayPal. If invoice is settled by PayPal, an extra 5% service fee will be charged.
If Taiwan uniform invoice is required, a Business Tax at 5% of the invoiced amount will be charged and collected.
- Eligibility Criteria
To apply for a B-1/B-2 visa, the following eligibility criteria must be met:

The purpose of the trip is to enter the United States temporarily for business, pleasure or medical treatment;

(2)
|
The applicant plans to remain in the United States for a specific, limited time period;
|
(3)
|
The applicant’s employer meets certain qualification (where applicable);
|
(4)
|
Evidence of funds to cover expenses in the United States;
|
(5)
|
The applicant has a residence outside the United States as well as social and economic ties that will ensure his/her departure from the United States at the end of the visit.

- Procedures and Timeline
The processing application processing time generally takes 3 to 8 working days, but may be extended depending on the cooperation and circumstances of the client. Further note that the USCIS or the U.S. consulate might request additional evidence to complete the adjudication, in which case the processing time will be prolonged.
- Documents and Information Needed

Passport biographic page (your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your period of stay in the United States). Each individual who needs a visa must submit a separate application, including any family members listed in your passport;

(2)

Nonimmigrant Visa Application, Form DS-160 confirmation page;
|
(3)
|
Application fee payment receipt;
|
(4)
|
Photograph meeting the USCIS Photograph Requirements (if the photo upload fails during the DS-160 application, you must bring one printed photo in the format explained in the Photograph Requirements);

(5)
|
Intent to depart the United States after the trip;
|
(6)
|
Ability to pay all costs of the trip;
|
(7)
|
Document to support the purpose of the trip.
(a) For Business purpose
- Current proof of income, tax payments, property or business ownership, or assets;
- Travel itinerary and/or other explanation about the planned trip;
- A letter from employer detailing applicants?position, salary, how long have been employed, any authorized vacation, and the business purpose;
- Criminal/court records pertaining to any arrest or conviction anywhere
- Parents applying for a visa for a child under the age of 14 should bring with them the child’s birth certificate to prove the parent-child relationship.
(b) For Businessmen and Company Directors
- Evidence of applicants?position in the company and remuneration.
(c) For Working adults
- Employment letter from applicants?employer and pay slips from the most recent three months.
(d) For Visiting a relative
- Photocopies of the relative’s proof of status (e.g. Green Card, naturalization certificate, valid visa, etc).
(e) For Students
- Applicants?latest school results, transcripts, and degrees/diplomas
- Evidence of financial support (e.g. monthly bank statements, fixed deposit slips, etc).
(f) For Previous visitor to the United States
- Any documents attesting to applicants?immigration or visa status
(g) For Medical Treatment
- A medical diagnosis from a local physician explaining the nature of applicants?ailment and the reason of requiring treatment in the United States; and
- A letter from a physician or medical facility in the United States expressing a willingness to treat this specific ailment and detailing the projected length and cost of treatment (including doctors?fees, hospitalization fees, and all medical-related expenses); and
- A statement of financial responsibility from the individuals or organization paying for applicants?transportation, medical and living expenses; and
- The individuals guaranteeing payment of these expenses must provide proof of their ability to do so, often in the form of bank or other statements of income/savings or certified copies of income tax returns.
USCIS reserves the right to demand further documents from the applicant or employing company as and when necessary. All submitted documents must be either in English or translated into English by a certified translation body.

- Validity of the Visa
The initial validity period of a B-1/B-2 visa is 1 to 6 months. The visa holder can apply with the USCIS to request an extension of stay in B-1/B-2 status at least 45 days before its expiration for up to another 6 months. The maximum period of stay on any one trip is generally 1 year.
