Shenzhen to Pilot Recognition of International Professional Qualifications
On 2 June 2022, the Shenzhen Human Resources and Social Security Bureau released a circular on its official website and issued a Catalogue of Recognition of International Professional Qualification as Professional Title in Shenzhen (2022) (hereinafter referred to as the "Catalogue"), announcing the pilot of international professional qualification recognition.
According to the circular, professionals holding the international professional qualification certificates specified in the Catalogue, regardless of nationality and registered residence, who engage in professional and technical work consistent with or similar to the qualification certificates and work in Shenzhen for more than one year, are deemed to have obtained the corresponding professional titles. They can apply for higher-level professional titles according to the specified conditions. Their overseas working experience can be treated as domestic working experience.

- US Certified Safety Professional
- UK Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute
- UK BREEAM Accredited Professional
- UK BREEAM INC Assessor
- UK BREEAM In-Use Assessor
- Australia Registered Planner
- Shenzhen-Hongkong-Macau FinTech Professional
- HK Registered Professional Planner
- HK Registered Architect
- HK Registered Professional Engineer (Structural)
